When Jesus taught his disciples, “…your will be done on earth as it in heaven,.. “ , in the prayer of Matthew 6:9-15,  it means that for you and me, we must listen for the will of God in each and every situation and pray that His will be done, in it. It is on this foundation of teaching that we have found prayer to be very essential in walking with God. When we pray we also become edified or encouraged in the spirit man.

The call, God gives us, to pray on specific issues means that He wants to do something in that area, to His own glory and the benefit of His people.
