Theme: The Tools you need to Navigate this life

How you navigate through life and make things right between you and God.
-God does not distinguish between a Jew and a Gentile. Similarly, he will not distinguish between a Christian and a non Christian.

-There are certain things or people God sees consistent and begins to pull strings to bring them to the truth.
1. Be devoted to God
2. ⁠Have a lifestyle of giving to the people in need
-Consistency in devotion and giving
-Things demonstrated out of works are things coming from faith
-You don’t act on something you don’t believe

How faith plays a role in your walk with God.
-Faith originated from God
-God put faith in man after creation that man will do everything God sends him to do
-The moment you say you believe God, you begin to please God
-Faith is God’s gift to man. We have to activate it.
it’s impossible to please God without faith
-Faith does not discriminate
-God is a God of time

• Never think negatively about yourself
• God created you special, you have something to offer.
• Think good of yourself always.
• 1 John 1:5
• God cannot create you to be useless.

• We must walk in light
• God created you hence you have the potential to do great things.
• He gave us the planet earth to be ours and do something.
• You have the creative power in you.
• We have the power to rule.
• Rulership to produce positive results
• But The deception took place in Genesis 3
• Romans 3:23
• Sin is going away from Gods purpose and it broke the relationship with God.
• Breaking of the relationship means spiritual death (meaning living your own life without God which is dangerous)
• John 3:16
• When you sin there is a punishment.
• Jesus took the punishment on our behalf.
• The definition of the true Christian is believing in Jesus Christ.

-You must not think you are wise because of what you know. Instead acknowledge you are still learning everyday
-The actual things you are producing as a man or woman are coming from the mind
-Our thinking in terms of performance must be dedicated to God who sees us and not because of a person who is above us in terms of position is present
-Everything starts with your thoughts. What informs your thoughts and your actions is important
-Our thinking must be different from the world
-We should think about who we are in Christ
-Our thinking should align with the purposes of God

Text: 1 John 1:5-8

Things you should stand on as a Christian
-If you sin, you must confess your sins to God and it is He that forgives and cleanses.
>John 3:16
-An eternal life means you know God and his son Jesus Christ.
>1 John 1:10
>1 John 2:1

How do we grow in Holiness?
-Sin is not desirable. It is not recommended in the Kingdom of God as a Christian.
-Every word of God that we hear is so that we do not sin.
-If you as a Christian sin, there is an advocate who speaks to the father on our behalf and that is Jesus Christ.
-God listens to the voice of the righteous one that is his son Jesus Christ.
However, this should not give Christians the leeway to sin willingly
-Jesus Christ is the attorney. He is the sacrifice for our sins and not only for ours, but also for the whole world.
-If you sin, do not condemn yourself.
>1 John 1:9
All you have to do is act and repent from your sinfulness when you happen to find yourself in sin or sinning.
